This painting aims to portray two things, power and confidence. Power defined by the tiger is not as simple as pure dominance and strength. Power is can be seen as resilience, it’s the unknown energy we people use to overcome the impossible. The tiger is powerful not because of its physical strength, but because of its patience to attack when the time is right. This all ties in with confidence.

To be powerful, one must be confident. The woman beautifully tells a story of her attitude towards life. Dressed in garments so unique and outlandish people wouldn’t help but stare. But she wears it with a smile and only looks forward towards her goal because she knows exactly where she needs to go. Confidence is mastery of the mind.

This whole piece is wrapped with the bold cadmium red to solidify that feeling of determination and destruction. This is true hunger.
