These are a collection of artworks that were made in 2025. This year for me was completely about new beginnings. Before the year started I made it a goal for myself to be more open to everything and once I made that goal for myself everything changed. For one my art was focused on just letting loose and not being afraid to restart and fail. I still used my usual acrylic and pencil crayons for some artworks, but this year I was heavily focusing on newer mediums such as oil and fabric paint.

Not only that, I decided to try and find a style I liked. As you begin to see I heavily start to lean into a more impressionist style, while also playing a lot with different colour palettes until one started to click well with me. It's funny how much art influences my life and how my life influences my art because the reason why my art is like this is simply because I started to open myself up to different kinds of people, experiences, and events. My first big event was actually at the Manitoba Legislative Building where I had one of my paintings up for display for Filipino Heritage Month. I also had my first couple of markets where I was able to sell some of my art in person for the first time.

This year I met a lot of people, went out and explored so much, while also learning so much about myself. Before I knew it my own life started to become much more colourful and fast paced haha!
